CoachPro Privacy Policy

CoachPro helps youth football coaches plan and run training sessions, on iPhone and Android. We collect as little as possible.

What stays on your phone

Your team age, training days, blocks, sessions, drills and settings are stored on your phone. If you do not share a team, we do not see any of it. Your own drills, your saved sessions and today's changes always stay on your phone.

Sharing a team with co-coaches (optional)

You only need an account to share a team with other coaches. You sign in with Apple (iPhone) or Google (Android). We then store:

• Your account: your first name (you can change it in the app) and the account number that Apple or Google gives us for CoachPro. We never receive or store your email address or password.
• Your shared team: the team name, age group, training days and times, the block and its sessions and drills, which sessions are done, the coaches in the team and their roles, and which coach made each change and when.
• Invite codes: a code to join the team. Codes stop working after 7 days.
• Sign-in tokens: a random token that keeps you signed in. We store only a scrambled (hashed) copy.

We use this only to keep the team the same on every coach's phone. Co-coaches in your team see the team's plan and the first names of its coaches. Nobody else does.

This data is stored on Cloudflare servers in the European Union. We keep it while your account and team exist.

Deleting your data

• Your account: in the app, go to Team, then your account, then Delete Account. We delete your account and sign-in tokens straight away. Teams you own pass to another coach in the team, or are deleted if you are the only coach.
• A team: the owner can delete it in the app. We delete its plan, history and invite codes.
• Data on your phone: delete the app.

The lock-screen timer (iPhone)

While a training session runs on an iPhone, CoachPro sends our push server a random session number, the Live Activity push token (from Apple) and the times when drills change. The server uses them only to update the timer on your lock screen, and deletes them when the session ends. They are not linked to you or your account. On Android, the lock-screen timer works on the phone only.

What we do not do

There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use it for anything else.

Children

CoachPro is for coaches (adults). It does not ask for players' names, photos or any other information about children.

Service providers

• Cloudflare runs our servers and stores shared teams (in the EU). Cloudflare may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time for security.
• Apple provides Sign in with Apple and delivers the iPhone lock-screen updates.
• Google provides Sign in with Google.

Legal basis

We process account and team data to provide the sharing you asked for (contract), and server logs to keep the service secure (legitimate interest).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to get a copy of it. Email us at the address below. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie).
